EXPERIENCE-SHARING MEETING HELD WITH TRAINING DEPARTMENTS OF HEALTHCARE INSTITUTIONS PROVIDING POSTGRADUATE TRAINING
The Center for Postgraduate Education of the Graduate School of the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences (MNUMS), in collaboration with the Health Development Center, organized an “Experience-Sharing Meeting and Discussion with the Training Departments of Healthcare Institutions Providing Postgraduate Education” on June 18, 2026. The meeting aimed to enhance the implementation of postgraduate residency training programs, strengthen collaboration with training institutions, improve the quality and organization of training, and discuss current challenges and issues.
Representatives from the Health Development Center, the First Central Hospital, the Second Central Hospital, the National Center for Maternal and Child Health, the National Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics, the National Cancer Center, the National Center for Mental Health, the National Center for Communicable Diseases, the National Center for Zoonotic Diseases, the National Gerontology Center, district and specialized hospitals, the General Executive Agency of Court Decision Enforcement, the Institute of Traditional Medicine and Technology, the Mongolia–Japan Hospital of MNUMS, and other affiliated institutions actively participated in the meeting. In total, 42 representatives from postgraduate education and training departments attended the event.
During the meeting, presentations and information were delivered on the activities of MNUMS and its Graduate School, quality improvement in postgraduate education, training management and organization, and human resource development. Participants exchanged views and discussed opportunities for further collaboration. Attendees also visited the Career Development Center of the Mongolia–Japan Hospital of MNUMS and the Simulation Training Environment of the Clinical Skills Center under the School of Medicine, where they learned about advanced training methods and facilities designed to enhance the practical competencies of healthcare professionals.
As a result of the meeting, participants agreed to strengthen cooperation among training institutions and to continue working together to improve the quality and outcomes of postgraduate medical education.
