POSTDOCTORAL PROGRAM
MNUMS POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIP
In 2024, postdoctoral students who are doing research based on the institute and laboratory of MNUMS will be paid as full-time employees at the salary scale of a senior faculty member and will supervise the performance of research work.
Eligible criteria for post-doctoral applicants:
- It must not have been more than 5 years since the doctorate.
- Postdoctoral studies are up to 2 years.
- Academic researchers from foreign and domestic universities, academic and research institutions in cooperation with MUNUMS can participate.
- It will be based on departments, laboratories, institutes and university hospitals in MNUMS.
- The post-doctoral researcher and supervisor will work under a tripartite agreement with the Division of Graduate Education Policy and Management of MNUMS.
- The post-doctoral researcher will publish at least 1 article as the first or responsible author in a journal registered in the Web of Science, Scopus, and Pubmed databases.
- A post-doctoral researcher will earn 2.6 million MNT per month and 31 million MNT per year at the teaching level.
- A postdoctoral researcher is not allowed to engage in dual employment outside the university.

Postdoctoral researchers
Dr. Seded Baatar, a faculty and researcher at the Department of Health Research, Graduate School of MNUMS, carried out the research project "Localization of the method of measuring gastrointestinal motility in experimental animals in Mongolia" for the first time in the basic research of drugs in the complex composition of traditional medicine. In the future, we are working with the goal of preventing digestive tract disorders among the population and introducing a methodology that can become a research standard for scientists in Mongolia.
Dr. Seded Baatar has published 12 domestic articles, 8 reports, and 6 foreign articles.
Dr.Myadagmaa Jaalkhorol, a faculty and researcher at the Department of Health Research, Graduate School of MNUMS, is currently working on a research project on the topic of "Researching the risk of osteoporosis-related fractures in the population over 40 years of age in Mongolia in relation to the quality of life." This research work is characterized by the fact that it has a high significance in detecting and preventing osteoporosis in the elderly in the Mongolian population, as well as diagnosing and treating it at an early stage before the complications of chronic diseases worsen.
J. Myadagmaa, MD, has published 16 domestic articles, 15 reports, and 8 foreign articles.
