Present status of the department

Academic lecturers at the Department of Medical Legislations and Education teach such as Academic skills, Medical Legislation, Medical Education and Research Mongolian language courses for Master's and Doctoral and foreign students at Graduate School. The department has 5 lecturers:

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

“Academic Skills” subject objectives:

  • To read and analyze research and analysis publications in Mongolian and English.
  • Planning and carrying out research.
  • Summarize the results and present them at the academic conference.
  • Create full-length articles and single-theme works.
  • Developing proposals for international joint research projects and working together.
  • It is to acquire the comprehensive competence of knowledge, skills, and attitude.
  • This course will be organized with a total of 16 hours of lectures and 32 hours of practical lessons. Assessment of learning will be through multiple-choice tests and self-paced learning performance.

"Medical Legislation" course

  • Fundamental problems of legal theory
  • Human rights and medical care and services
  • Trends in the development of medical law
  • Certain tort and criminal law issues
  • Application of tort and criminal laws

“After successfully completing the "Medical Education" course, the student

  • To develop, implement, evaluate, evaluate, and feedback a training program to provide doctors and medical professionals with knowledge and skills that meet the demands of the health labor market.
  • Carrying out research work in the field of medical education and research, will be able to manage and direct project work. This course is a blended form of classroom and online learning, and the graduate training will be organized with a total of 8 hours of lectures and 16 hours of practical lessons. Assessment of learning will be through multiple-choice tests and self-paced learning performance.

Contents of Academic Mongolian language as a special program for foreign students:

Methods of Mongolian language writing, reading, and speaking skills.

Grammatic changes in grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure in Medical research works.

Types and genre of Medical research works.

Features of the language and composition of Medical research works.

Analyzing medical expressions, terms, and terminology in research papers.

To acquire the writing, reading, and speaking skills for Medical research works.
