Clauses 30.1.2 and 31.1.3 of the Law on Higher Education, Objective 2.4 of Mongolia's long-term development policy "Vision-2050", and Objective 3 of "Development Policy-2030" of the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences, respectively based on this, a joint project between the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences and the "Lumiere Lyon 2" University of France aims to increase international cooperation and improve information technology in the field of medical science education in Mongolia. The working group for the introduction of the master's (1+1) international curriculum has been established. The collaboration is a continuation of the European Union's Erasmus+ DiGiHealth-Asia project, "Strengthening the capacity of digital health monitoring and care systems in Asia". According to the working group, the Head of the Department of Health Research, Academic School, J. Jambaldorj, MD, Associate Professor, MD, Associate Professor Sh. Dr. E. Sarantuya and others are working.

As part of the introduction of the joint curriculum, professor Aicha Sekhari, professor Yacine Ouzrout, and associate professor Nathalie Auvergnon from "Lumiere Lyon 2" school came to MNUMS from October 12 to 15, 2024, and a meeting was held successfully and further work is proceeding according to plan.
