Collaboration and Joint Programmes

The Graduate School has established an extensive network of partnerships, bridging academic and research initiatives with prominent institutions worldwide and enhancing healthcare and training opportunities within Mongolia. These collaborations provide invaluable global perspectives and contribute to the Graduate School's commitment to excellence in research, education, and clinical practice.

International Collaborations

  • The Graduate School has undertaken 13 joint projects with international organizations, reflecting a commitment to collaborative research.
  • To date, faculty and researchers have published 85 international academic papers and 92 articles alongside foreign scientists, contributing significantly to global academic discourse.
  • Hosted 10 international conferences, seminars, and training programme’s, offering a platform for cross-border knowledge sharing and academic exchange.
  • Jointly organized the 'Multidisciplinary Brain Science' conference with the Mongolian Academy of Sciences in 2019 and 2020, spotlighting brain and mind research and bringing together experts from various disciplines.
  • Eight faculty members have successfully defended their PhDs abroad, while two are currently PhD candidates internationally.
  • A lecturer from the Graduate School has served as a visiting professor in Japan, furthering academic collaboration.
  • Dr. Nomin Amgalan from the International Cyber Education Center was invited as a lecturer for the Dr. LEE Jong-wook Fellowship program (Seoul University College of Medicine and the Korean Foundation for International Healthcare), where she delivered an insightful lecture on 'Curriculum Development.'
  • 2018: Signed a memorandum with Inner Mongolia National University to establish a student exchange program, resulting in 33 students studying at MNUMS.
  • 2018: Partnered with the Mongolian-Chinese Hospital of Bugat (Inner Mongolia) to advance academic research and student exchange, welcoming 89 students to MNUMS.
  • 2019: Established a student exchange and research partnership with the International Mongolian Hospital (Inner Mongolia), resulting in 16 students joining MNUMS.
  • 2023: Initiated cooperative agreements with the University of Birmingham (UK) and Chifeng University (Inner Mongolia) to foster student exchanges and collaborative research.
  • Esteemed professors from Yonsei University (Korea), including Professors Chae Young Moon and Lee Won Hee, served as visiting professors in 2022.
  • Professor Davison M. Colleen of Queen’s University (Canada) joined as a visiting professor in 2023.
  • Samuel Toney contributed as the English editor for CAJMS from 2022 to 2023, ensuring the Graduate School’s publications reached a broader international audience.
